The new product is a security gateway designed to enhance enterprise security, as well as centralize service and monitoring through the cloud. The device is designed with multiple 2.5 Gbit/s ports and is built on a high-performance hardware platform: a quad-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 8 GB flash memory, which allows for up to 4 Gbit/s throughput. USB 3G/4G can also be used for additional fail-safe connectivity.

ESG510 includes a high-performance SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) firewall that provides protection against network threats by defining and enforcing security policies. This component offers real-time filtering of all traffic, stateful packet inspection, detailed security policy development, port forwarding, network address translation and management of certain incoming services.

Among the functional features of the gateway is a semi-automatic configuration wizard for creating Mesh VPN connections. This process allows you to quickly set up a secure network, even if the WAN service and ISP IP address are offline or changed.

In fact, the gateway is part of the EnGenius family of cloud devices, making it easy to add it to your existing infrastructure. Thus, settings, rule definitions, functions, alarms and maintenance are handled through a centralized console familiar to users of EnGenius solutions, enabling management of entire multi-node networks and several independent infrastructures.
